The Moon Phases : a scientific experiment
The students got first to observe the moon during an entire moon cycle. They had a sheet on which they had to note the date and draw their observations of the Moon. In case of a cloudy sky, I had reffered the NASA website to them, on which you can observe the Moon as well.
Based on their monthly Moon journal, they made observations, they questioned, and formulated hypothesis.
Following the scientific method, they conducted exprimants to understand how Moon phases work.
You can find the integrality of the scientific method followed for this experiment here.
